Family Law Mediation
Dr. Spellman is certified by the Florida Supreme Court Certified as a Family Law Mediator, trained to mediate matters in divorce and child-related cases. Although he provides standard mediation services to address all issues, Dr. Spellman specializes in Bifurcated Mediation, which is a procedure that protects the children during and after the divorce, by mediating child related issues separately from financial issues.
Parenting Coordination
Doctors Spellman and Agress are among the few Parenting Coordinators certified by the Court in Florida. Parenting Coordination assists parents in working together toward the best interests of their children, by helping to develop and/or implement parenting plans during and after divorce.
Expert Witness Testimony
The forensic psychologists at CPN are experienced expert witnesses. Our education,
knowledge and specialized training in parent-child relationships, the effects of divorce on children and families and of children's mental health needs makes us uniquely qualified to assist the Court and attorneys in achieving optimal solutions to unresolved family disputes and issues of competency in probate matters. Custody evaluations are conducted under court order, following national standards and guidelines, to ensure the highest quality and most comprehensive assessment of families for the court.
